To eat
Have cultured food
Home made
And exciting

The bars
Never close
Well they close at
Four A.M.
Or when you meet
That lucky girl
Just be careful
She’ll steal your
Heart
Like New York
Stole mine

The people you
Meet
Are unlike
Anyone else
Weird
Different
And sometimes odd
I feel like
I would fit in
In New York

It can be
Scary
In the night
Or how
The business
Is so cut
Throat
It will eat you
Alive

But this is why
People
Are drawn to this
City
Every year
Drawn to the
Excitement
Of the glow
The aura
Of this beautiful
Yet daunting city
